Alloy 347H (UNS S3409) stainless steel plate is the higher carbon (0.04 – 0.10) version of the alloy. It was developed for enhanced creep resistance and for higher strength at temperatures above 1000°F (537°C). In most instances, the carbon content of the plate enables dual certification.
Alloy 347 stainless steel plate cannot be hardened by heat treatment, only by cold working. It can be easily welded and processed by standard shop fabrication practices.

How To Make 347 Stainless Steel Strips
The raw materials of 347 steel coils are purchased from China well-known manufacturers, and every batch of goods is said to be genuine.
Each batch of goods has a product quality certificate issued by the origin manufacturer.
Our company will also conduct full inspections on the raw materials sent to the factory, and select raw materials for sampling and use for spectral testing.
The spectral testing can roughly detect the ingredients contained in the raw materials. We will check with the manufacturer’s quality certificate. Make a comparison and confirm that the materials are correct.
Checking details include products thickness tolerance, width of coil, outside packaging, label marks, inside surface finish, chemical components, etc.

The tension leveling is performed by means of a skin pass mill, a machine that, in addition to improve the mechanical properties, which helps to improve the final brightness of the steel strip. That way, the desired features of the final strip product are guaranteed.
After straightening process, the stress distribution in the entire stainless steel strip is more uniform and the plate shape is more straight.

For high quality 347 stainless steel strips slitting process, our staff will use the precision and small machines to cut the narrow coils. Thickness of roll coils is from 0.08mm to 3.0mm.
Our workers will make adjustments between finished coils and cutting tools when they are preparing to slit in order to minimize the burr of strips edge as much as possible.
